How much does a weekly car rental cost?

A week in a compact comes to roughly ฿1,090 × 7: from 7 days the rate drops by 8% with no promo code. Other classes follow the same rule, with the discount taken off each model's own base rate. The table below shows the total for a week in each car class.

Which car to rent for a week?

For two people a compact is plenty for a week: it is cheaper to rent, uses less fuel and is easier to park in Patong and the Old Town. A family with children and luggage will be more comfortable in a crossover, a group of six or seven in a minivan. For mountain roads and a trip to Phang Nga, choose a car with power in reserve.

How much does a weekly car rental cost?

From ฿1,090 a day for a compact instead of ฿1,180 on a short rental: from 7 days the rate is 8% lower. The discount is taken off the base rate of any model, so a crossover or minivan is cheaper by the week too. The calculator shows the total with class, season, delivery and insurance before you book.

Do I have to ask for the weekly discount?

No, the term discount applies automatically as soon as you pick dates of 7 days or more in the calculator. No promo code or deal with a manager is needed: the rate is the same for everyone booking the same period. Only delivery to a district and extras change the total, for example a child seat or booster at ฿100 a day.

What if I need the car for just under a week?

Compare both periods in the calculator. A rental never costs more than a longer discounted period: if you need the car for one day less than 7, the calculator compares the price with 7 days at 8% off and charges the lower amount. You do not need to arrange anything separately.

Can I extend the rental?

Yes, an extension is arranged by message on Telegram or WhatsApp: send the new dates and the manager recalculates the price. If the total period crosses 11 or 30 days, the rate moves to the next discount tier. Give a day or two of notice, before the car is booked for the following dates.

Is airport delivery included in the weekly rate?

Yes, pickup and return at HKT airport are free for any rental period. Delivery to a hotel, villa or apartment in other districts costs ฿200–700 depending on the address. The calculator shows the delivery fee when you choose the pickup point, before you book.

Is a deposit required for a weekly rental?

Not with Full Insurance: no deposit with full insurance from 7 days, and a weekly rental meets that threshold. With basic insurance (included in the price, ฿5,000 excess) a refundable deposit is paid at pickup; the amount depends on the car and is shown before you book. Your passport is never held as security.

Can I drive outside Phuket?

Yes, the car can be driven in three provinces: Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi. In a week you can visit Phang Nga Bay, Khao Lak or the beaches of Krabi and Ao Nang. Agree trips to other regions of Thailand with the manager in advance: outside the three provinces the insurance does not apply without approval.

Which is cheaper: one week or two separate weeks?

One continuous booking is cheaper than two separate ones. Two weekly rentals are priced separately, each with a 8% discount, while 11 days in a row reach the next tier of 15%. If you already know you will stay longer than a week, book the real dates straight away.
