How much does a monthly car rental cost?

The rate drops in steps: from 7 days by 8%, from 11 by 15%, from 30 by 35%. On a monthly term a compact costs ฿770 a day, and the discount applies to the base rate of any model. In middle season 25% is added to the rate, in high season 60%, in the peak New Year weeks 85%; the term discount still applies.

The calculator applies the season day by day: if a month starts in low season and runs into high season, the surcharge falls only on the high-season days. Which car to rent for a month?

For town driving and parking near the beaches a five-seat sedan or hatchback is enough: Nissan Almera, Honda Jazz, Honda City. The Toyota Yaris Cross and Corolla Cross hybrid crossovers use less fuel if you drive a lot around the island and to neighbouring provinces over the month. How much does a monthly car rental cost?

When does the monthly discount start?

From 30 days, at 35% off the base rate. Before that, smaller tiers apply: 8% from 7 days and 15% from 11. From 90 days long-term rental begins, with discounts from 42%. If you are a day short of the threshold, the calculator compares the price with 30 days and charges the lower amount.

Can I pay monthly?

Yes, rentals of a month or more are paid monthly: one payment at the start of each rental month rather than the full amount at once. Payment is in cash in Thai baht, US dollars or euros at the exchange-office rate, or by card via the terminal with a 7% bank fee. The payment schedule is fixed in the contract.

How much is a month in a particular model?

The daily price and the monthly total for each model are in the table on this page. Both figures come from the same calculator as on the car page, for dates starting tomorrow, with the term discount and the season of each day. District delivery and extras are not in the table; the calculator adds them when you book.

What happens if the car breaks down?

Message support on Telegram or WhatsApp right away: it answers around the clock and will tell you what to do. If the fault is not yours, the manager arranges repair or replacement under the contract terms. After an accident, do not leave the scene and wait for the police: without a police report the insurance does not pay out.

Can I add a second driver?

Yes, free of charge. The second driver's national licence is written into the contract, and the insurance covers both drivers. They need an IDP too: without it the police fine you, and the insurer can refuse to pay after an accident. A driver can also be added mid-rental: send photos of the documents by messenger. If someone not named in the contract is driving, the insurance does not apply.

Is a deposit required for a monthly rental?

Not with Full Insurance: no deposit with full insurance from 7 days, and a monthly rental clears that threshold easily. With basic insurance (included in the price, ฿5,000 excess) a refundable deposit is paid; the amount depends on the car, and it is returned when you hand the car back. Your passport is never held as security.

What if I leave early?

Message the manager as soon as your plans change. The discount depends on the length of the rental: if the actual period ends up shorter than 30 days, a smaller tier applies. Check how the recalculation and refund for unused days work before signing the contract.
