Fuel works on a full-to-full basis: you only pay for what you use. The fuel grade is stated in the contract; PTT, Shell and Bangchak stations are all over Phuket.
Is a sedan good for driving all over the island?

Yes, for most routes: the roads between the beaches, town and the sights are paved. A sedan will easily take you to Big Buddha, Wat Chalong, the Old Town and the northern beaches. For frequent climbs to steep viewpoints or long, fully loaded trips to Phang Nga and Krabi, a crossover with higher clearance is more comfortable.

How quickly can I get a sedan?
