About the car
What should you know about the New Toyota Yaris Ativ 2024 before renting?
More about the car
A compact 2024 saloon, the most common first choice on the island: small, automatic, with a 1.2 engine, and easy to park by the markets and along the seafront where space is tight.
Limitations: five seats are what the paperwork says, but two adults in front and two behind travel comfortably; a third passenger in the back is fine for a short trip. The boot takes roughly two suitcases, and bulky items will not fit inside the cabin.
The 1.2 engine keeps up with traffic easily, but with a full load on a hill climb the acceleration is unhurried. At handover, confirm how many seats you need for child seats and how the luggage will be arranged.
